New Jersey sets the world record with his 810lb Blue Marlin caught
using a Penn Senator 10/0 in Hatteras, North Carolina. |

1966 – Penn introduces the International
series, specifically built for big-game tournament fishermen. Unique
in their anodized gold finish, the International reels boast the fishing
world’s first pre-set drag control and built-in strike stop.
