Capt. George Mitchell grew up in South Florida fishing the waters
from Miami to Key West and the Bahamas. For the last 15 tears he
has operated a Light Tackle guide buss covering offshore as well
as inshore fishing. His offshore boat is a Brand new 36' Contender
The inshore skiff is a custom built 18' Amman, both boats are powered
by four stroke Yamaha outboards, and both boats carry the best in
Penn Reels, Rods, and Line.
Capt. George fishes all the major sailfish and dolphin Tournaments
as well as the SKA, and will travel this year to a few of the Striper
tmts in the Northeast, as well as the Bayou country for a couple
"round-up" style tmts.
Capt. George fishes approx 200 days annually and can also be seen
on Sportsmans Adventures, as well as Reel Adventures television,
both on the Sun Sports network.
Capt. Georges home port is in North Key Largo where both boats are
kept during the busy December through July season. After the season,
the "Snake Dancer", 36' Contender, can be found plying
the waters of the Bahamas in search of Blue Marlin and bonefish.
That's right, bonefish out of a 36 footer! We carry 40 rods with
us to the islands! You never know, the marlin fishing might be slow,
but we can anchor the boat and wade the flats for bonefish!
Capt. George's wife Lexie and 7yr. old son Eddie accompany him for
most of these adventures and are both accomplished anglers.
George's motto "every day is last day, be prepared, and use
only the best equipment" is evident when you step aboard the
boat, only the best in Penn equipment for this skipper!
