    Model - PUR7000902H, Rod-PUR15305902, Reel-Pur7000

    Received this combo as a gift. While I really like the reel, seems to have very smooth retrieve, I cannot say the same for the rod. First surf fishing trip using this combo the top section of the rod broke off during retrieval, not even with a fish on (2 oz weight being uses which should be ok since rod say 1-3 oz lure). Needless to say I was very disappointed in the performance of this rod. So far I do like the reel, however, guess I'll just have switch it onto one of my other less expensive reliable rods to be able to use it.
