Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Tough! I bought my Penn Battle 7000 3 months ago, and it is a beast! I love it! I have taken it trolling and brought in some monster Kingfish, Cobia, and Bonita. With 40 # Power Pro it just hauls them all in. Offshore is no problem. If I can hook it, I know my Battle 7000 will bring it in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this spinning reel saltwater and freshwater I have already done a saltwater review for this reel but sadly refrained on noting its abilities in freshwater as well. I was using the 3000 for the peacock bass here in south Florida. It was awesome until I started catching some over 5 pounds. I upgraded to the 4000 and I am as happy as can be. I am confident that it can handle any of the peacock bass in these canals including a nine pounder I recently caught. I am hoping to get the 5000 or 6000 and try it against the bruisers in the amazon.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awsome Reel! I got this reel a couple months ago and i absolutly love it I have caught everything from Gag grouper to large Crevalle Jack and even about a 4 foot blacktip shark on my 4000 size reel. If anyone is looking to get one of these i WOULD highly recomend getting it. I have recently got this reel to replace my pursuit 4000 witch i have caught 28 inch redfish 32inch snook to 29 inch gag grouper. I even landed a 40lbs stingray but that was getting old so I upgraded to the battle and i am really glad i did.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome all purpose reel I bought the 4000 maybe a year ago and it is still working great. I have caught big trout, reds, sheepshead, and even snapper and kingfish. The reel is a performer plain and simple and in my opinion is just as good as the Shimano Stradic  at a much more reasonable price point. I am planning on buying more and selling all my stradics.
